True Bend Radius

Bend-Right Rings have a constant curve though the center. This creates a gradual bend in the rope which minimizes stress and rope wear, but also adds predictable friction to the rigging system. Conventional rings cause the rope to make two sharp bends which focuses wear on the rings, reduces rope strength, and shortens rope life.

Minimizes Rope Fatigue

Bend-Right Rings provide a superior sheave size compared to conventional rings. Ropes are at their strongest when they keep their original profile, round. The smaller diameter center helps the rope keep its shape, reducing rope squish.

Optimized For Common Rope Sizes

Our goal is to maintain a true 4:1 bend ratio while keeping weight to a minimum. Our standard ring is optimized to provide a bend ratio of 4:1 with 9/16 rope, but will accept up to a 3/4 (19mm) rope.

Lighter and Stronger Than Blocks

Coming in at just under 12.5 ounces (350 grams), means no more hauling heavy blocks around the canopy, or trying to stack multiple conventional rings together. Bend-Right Rings are simple, strong, and easy to use.

Mil-Spec Hard Anodization

In testing, we found that wet and dirty ropes caused grooves in bare aluminum rings, and would often wear off standard hard coat anodization. We decided to go to the next level and use Mil-Spec Hard Anodization on all of our rings to provide the best durability.
